The fall it´s here

I did this sketch some days ago and since then I've been thinking that it would improve a lot with colours and a "typical american landscape". I hope that I will finish it in the next few days. Colorize and add shadows and lights in photoshop is driving me crazy. Wat I wanted is a 3D look... I will try it :)

Have you noticed that the Fall it`s here?? Switch off your computer, go outside, enjoy the good weather and the sun... because.... The Winter is coming :P

Sketches in the subway

These days I've dared to do something that I've always wanted to do...Drawing in the subway!. I'm very shy and I don't feel confortable if someone is looking at me when I´m drawing. I've always envy those illustrators who drawn pople in the street, I think that these drawings are very interesting and the I like drawing faces the most. So the other day I decided to prove it, and it was great! it's a very good way to travel because the times goes bye even faster than when I read. At the moment I've only drawn a girl, the rest of the drawins are from my mind, I'm afraid that someone gets angry if discovers that I'm drawing him/her without permision. Anyway I think that I will continue with this!

Landscape

This is an old painting but I found it today when I was searching for something else. I drew it from a very nice picture. I put this silly characters just for fun :)

Evolution of an illustration

Hello! this time I want to show you a "making of" of one of my illustrations. Many people ask me about how I colorize my drawings, so here is the answer. The first thing that I do is to take a photo of one of my sketchs with my web-cam (I'm usually to lazy to do it with the scanner :)) After that I open photoshop and I apply the lights and shadows with yellow and purple (never use black!)....then I work all the details. At the end I used to apply some canvas with differents fusion modes to unify the tone and stand out the lights and reflections.
I use the default brushes. I especially like "dry brushes".
I hope you like the explanation, and the new more relitic style that I'm experiment.
